Twin Cities Animal Rehabilitation Clinic

 

Dr. Julia Tomlinson is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP). She is also a board certified ACVS veterinary surgeon and has a PhD in Physiology and a Master of Science.
 
Dr. Julia is originally from England and now lives in Burnsville with her husband and her dog, Miller.
 
Dr. Julia has a special interest in sports medicine and therapy for chronic pain. She is a member of the Canine Sports Medicine Association and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. She is also founder of the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians.
 
 
 
Jenny Newgard is our veterinary assistant and office manager. She is from Warroad, Minnesota, a small town on the Lake of the Woods six miles from the Canadian border, and now lives in St. Paul. She is a dog and cat person and has two adopted cats, Cubby and Zelda.
 
Prior to the Twin Cities Animal Rehabilitation Clinic, she worked in journalism and animal care and administration at the Humane Society for Companion Animals.
 
A dedicated volunteer and animal lover, she is interested in animal welfare and is enjoying the field of rehabilitative therapy for animals.
 
 
Betty Waalk is our Certified Veterinary Technician, she brings 23 years of experience to our clinic. Betty loves dogs but has a particular interest in cats. She lives in Vadnais Heights with her husband, 2 children, 2 cats, 1 dog and 2 fish!  Betty is currently pursuing certification as a rehabilitation assistant (CCRA); her interest in this field was sparked when her own rescue cat needed our services (Peter the cat models the ultrasound machine on our Clinic facilities page).
